There is a curious phenomenon involving supplementation. RAW, organic Whole Food is the gold standard as the intended means of human nutrient delivery. This is a fact that no one can deny. Yet food is not at the core of supplement delivery. There are 29,000 supplemental products. Only 336, by our count, of these products are whole food or contain food in the formula.

At MegaFood we create new supplement fractions of our food, taking them to the lowest possible denominator. The most exciting revelations in today's nutrient research are based on Whole Food. The examination of Traditional Whole Foods, using modern research methods, provides results that are astounding. Research shows isolated Beta Carotene is not as effective as carotenoids found in Whole Food. Whole Food research results are overwhelming. Removing the surrounding food factors from Whole Food, to isolate a mere fraction of that food, won't yield something with greater nutritional value. Current forms of isolated supplement fractions have not proven to provide enhanced nutritive value over the Whole Food they are isolated from!
