Kava is the native herbal treasure of several Pacific Islands, with Vanuatu as its ancestral center. Greatly revered for thousands of years, kava is used medicinally, spiritually, ceremonially and socially throughout Polynesian culture. Kava and coconut have a history of being used together; indeed kava is traditionally drunk from a coconut shell bowl. Coconut is rapidly emerging as a functional food due to its many health benefits and is believed to aid absorption of kava. Pineapple contains bromelain, an enzyme known to aid absorption and digestion.

Sustainably Harvested Lateral Root

In a commitment to sustainability, Eclectic Institute only uses the worlds finest kava from the pristine soil of small village farms in Vanuatu. Kava Colada is made from only the highest quality mature lateral root harvested at peak potency. The small lateral roots are the most potent part of the plant with the highest concentration of kavalactones.

Not an Extract At Eclectic we believe that the more you extract, standardize, and concentrate one component of a plant at the expense of another, the further you get from nature and the closer you get to a drug...so we leave our herbs as pure as nature intended. Kava Colada uses only whole lateral kava root - not standardized, concentrated or adulterated to change its natural ratios.

Suggested Use

Add 2-4 teaspoons of powder to water and mix well. Do not exceed 8 teaspoons per day.

Maltodextrin, sodium caseinate.
Contains milk products, may contain traces of gluten or nuts.

Warnings

Ask a health care professional before use if you have or have had liver problems, frequently use alcoholic beverages, or are taking any medications. (e.g., unexplained fatigue abdominal pain, loss of appetite, fever, vomiting, dark urine, pale stools, yellow eyes or skin). Not for use by person under 18 years of age or by pregnant or breastfeeding women. Not for use with alcoholic beverages. Excessive use, or use with products that cause drowsiness, may impair your ability to operate a vehicle or heavy machinery. Kava should not be taken on a daily basis for more than 4 weeks without consulting a healthcare provider.
